The Great Smoky Mountains of East Tennessee are a beautiful place to visit for a vacation. Surrounding the Smoky Mountains are the action-packed cities of Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, and Sevierville. Also, surrounding cities of Townsend, Wears Valley, and Cosby are located in the middle of the Smokies.

Gatlinburg is home to Ripley’s attractions, such as Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies, Ripley’s Haunted Adventure, and Ripley’s Believe It Or Not Museum.  Come and ski the slopes of Ober Gatlinburg ski resort and enjoy the lights of Winterfest.

Pigeon Forge is home to Dollywood and Dolly’s Splash Country.  Dollywood has thrilling roller coasters, great food, and exciting theater shows.  Dolly’s Splash Country is open during the summer months for a splashing good time. The Parkway in Pigeon Forge is packed with theaters such as Memories Theatre, Ole Smoky Hoedown, Smoky Mountain Jubilee, Comedy Barn, Black Bear Jamboree Music and Dinner Revue, Dolly Parton’s Dixie Stampede, as well as attractions like the Track, Putt-Putt Golf, and Bungy Jumping. Enjoy all the country music, gospel, and bluegrass this town has to offer from the incredible singers.

Shop in Sevierville at Governor’s Crossing or Tanger Five Oaks outlet. Tanger Five Oaks has outlets like Gap, Banana Republic, Old Navy, Polo Ralph Lauren, Tommy, Wilson Leather, Children’s Place, Fossil, and many more. Sevierville has great locations for golfing, horseback riding, or renting a cabin or chalet.

Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, and Sevierville are within a few miles of each other, so stay in one but be sure to visit all 3 cities.  Lodging accommodations are a surplus in these 3 cities, find a cabin rental, chalet rental, condo that’s right for you and your family. Or stay in a hotel right on the Parkway for fast access to theaters, golf, go carts, putt-putt, shopping and more.
